Auckland Region, Centralised Services  - Permanent Position

 

In this important role, the Technical Officer YSSU, provides specialist advice to Youth Service Support staff and providers on complex youth client cases.  This ensures that the right outcome for the client can be achieved and whilst strengthening the understanding of processes and the rationale for decision making.

 

Key to this role is ensure a quality service is provided to clients so that they have a positive experience every time they engage with MSD. As the Technical Officer, you will achieve this by keeping clients informed of outcomes and available entitlements to ensure they have the information they need. 
 

This position is based Mangere.
 

To succeed you need:
 


•    Strong relationship management skills and motivation to deliver great customer service
•    The ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion
•    An in-depth working knowledge of youth services products and services
•    High levels of computer and numerical competency with the ability to calculate complex financial entitlements in line with legislation and policy
•    Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    A professional interest in maintaining your current specialist knowledge of YSSU policy and practice.
•    The ability to develop and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships
