As a Supervisor your exceptional leadership skills will provide the capacity to work creatively, constructively, and effectively with tamariki, rangatahi, whanau, groups and communities to address individual and social problems. You will accomplish this by inspiring vision, offering direction, and supporting individual and team action to protect our tamariki and rangatahi.


You offer:

  • full SWRB registration and current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
  • extensive child protection social work knowledge and practice expertise
  • experience leading and inspiring a team
  • proven ability to enhance team performance and capability  
  • current full clean New Zealand drivers licence with no conditions
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • resilience and the ability to work under pressure
  • strong bi-cultural competency and a good understanding of tikanga Maori.
