Permanent - Part -Time (20 hours a week)


We have an exciting opportunity for a pragmatic and well organised administration professional to join our team and deliver high quality, efficient and proactive administrative support to our Albany Centre staff and visitors.


About the role


This busy and varied role will see you arranging meetings, taking minutes, facilitating the repair and maintenance of the premises and equipment, taking responsibility for clients and employees’ electronic records, and maintaining a room booking schedule for internal and external visitors.  You will also be responsible for working with Security and Front of House staff to ensure that all visitors and contractors are inducted appropriately, maintaining health and Safety standards is a big focus of this role.

About you


You are highly organised, able to multitask to meet deadlines and have great attention to detail and ability to keep calm under pressure. You pride yourself on taking initiative, delivering great customer service and getting things done efficiently and effectively.


To succeed in this role, you need:


•    Proven expertise supporting a team in an administrative capacity
•    Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
•    Experience maintaining and improving office systems
•    Exceptional relationship building skills – you enjoy meeting people from varied backgrounds
•    Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
•    Full NZ Driver’s Licence and ability to drive Ministry vehicles as required.
