MSD Information Technology is one of the largest information technology groups in New Zealand and the second largest in the public sector.  Information Technology is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and managing the Ministry’s business critical technology-based systems.   It provides a full range of in-house information and telecommunications technology services to approximately 9,500 Ministry staff.
