Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the Role:
As the Finance Business Partner you will work closely with the Principal Advisor – Finance and CASS - Treasury Shared Services to deliver financial advice and support to Whaikaha. You will lead the year end process for external financial reporting and develop training material and workshops to business managers so that they understand, capture and report relevant, reliable, complete, and timely financial information. You will also take the lead in the development of a finance activity planning calendar.
Ko wai koe | About You:
You will be a tertiary trained finance professional, ideally in the Government sector, with demonstrable experience in developing annual financial statements and workpapers. This will be paired with a Chartered Accountant full membership of CAANZ or CPA.
You will have strong accounting and financial reporting experience paired with strong analytical and planning skills. To support this, you will have highly developed skills using Microsoft Excel. You will also have the confidence and ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to all levels of the organisation. Your excellent attention to detail and ability to gather information, arrange it, and communicate it effectively, will be the keys to success in this role.
You will be a people person who can quickly establish rapport and build trust at all levels across a wide range of people. You will walk alongside the business, training, advising and supporting them through financial processes and helping them to understand their financial information.
To undertake this role successfully, you will be a disabled person or be able to establish credibility and trust with the disability community, as well as having empathy and an understanding of the unique and diverse experiences of disabled people.

Salary range: $116,827.00 - $141,873.00
