Mō te tūnga | About the role:
As the Business Analyst you’ll play an important part in delivering an important and complex project for Whaikaha. The project responds to the need for an accessible workplace with scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems that support operational efficiency and compliance with public sector digital standards.
You’ll be part of a team committed to innovation and inclusion, and, as a member of our pilot AI group, you’ll help us explore how AI can accelerate delivery and improve outcomes.
This is a fixed term role ending 30 June 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and supporting project planning, reporting, and delivery
- Tracking progress and preparing project documentation
- Conducting gap analysis and designing practical solutions
- Assessing the impact of changes and measuring benefits
- Supporting budgeting and financial processes
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation
- Applying AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and decision-making
Mōu | About you:
- Proven experience in business analysis and coordination roles, ideally in the public sector
- Confidence in tracking progress, preparing project plans and reports
- Familiarity with gap analysis, solution design, and benefit measurement
- Strong prioritisation skills, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Knowledge of business systems, tools, budgeting, and financial processes
- Comfort using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to support your work and improve efficiency is desirable.
To undertake this role successfully you will either be a disabled person or you will be able to establish credibility and trust with the disability community.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $78,222.00 - $94,689.00
