• Work with a close-knit team in central Wellington

Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role

The Senior Communications & Engagement Advisor works across the agency to support teams and develop our agency’s communications and engagement. You will:

• Develop engagement and communication strategies, working with relevant teams
• Lead the development of communications material required, including for the Minister’s office
• Co-ordinate and lead on engagements and events for various work programmes, including the establishment of the Social Investment Fund
• Provide expert advice on engagement best practices to drive successful initiatives
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

You will be a senior communications professional who has:

• Proven experience developing and implementing communications and engagement strategies
• Excellent writing, editing and oral communications skills
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills, and with a proven ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders
• Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building
• A proactive approach, with initiative take ownership and a willingness to support the wider team

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The salary range for this role is $104,885 - $148,073. Starting salaries reflect skills and experience relevant to the role with offers generally made between $104,885- $123,394.
