Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role

 

 

As an Advisor Engagement at the Social Investment Agency, you’ll support and deliver engagement activity across internal teams, iwi, government agencies, and other key stakeholders. You’ll contribute to strategic engagement planning, support events and hui, draft high-quality communications, and manage incoming engagement requests.

 

This role is ideal for someone with a strong relationship-building mindset and a commitment to public service values, te Tiriti o Waitangi, and delivering better social outcomes.

 

You’ll be part of the Engagement, Ministerials and Communications team, based in Wellington and reporting to the Manager of the group.

 

 

He kōrero mōu | About you

 

 

We’re looking for someone who:

 

  • Has experience developing and delivering engagement plans and communications materials.
  • Has strong written and oral communication skills, including stakeholder management experience.
  • Can confidently support engagement with iwi Māori and reflect te Tiriti values in your work.
  • Has a collaborative mindset and takes initiative to support wider team goals
  • Is adaptable, politically aware, and comfortable working in a public service environment.

 

A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.

 

 

Utu ā-tau | Salary

 

Band 15 : $76 925 - $90 500 - $108 600 (usually offers are made between $76 925 and $90 500)
